Cleveland Museum of Art

In 2009, the Cleveland Museum of Art selected WRT to create proposals for a series of landscapes to complement and reinforce the additions and renovations designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects. Three distinct landscape types were required: interior atrium landscapes, rooftop terraces and an entry/event space. In the spaces given in the plans by the Viñoly team, we invented landscapes that did not compete visually with
the Museum’s art collections, but that provided respite and calm for the Museum visitors.
