Judith Heintz, Diana Drake and Napat Sitisara worked in concert with WXY Studio to transform a barren, deteriorated concrete plaza into a lush landscape that responds to the opportunities and constraints inherent in the site. All plants are native to the New York City region and where possible, storm water is directed to planted areas and away from the city's combined sewer system.
